Our Investigations
On this page you can view some of Viper Paranormal's previous investigations. We will only include some of our investigations on this page to protect our clients. Occasionally we may include private residence cases, but only with the consent of the client. We have not included any private residences as of yet. Please feel free to contact us If you have any questions reguarding the locations we have visited.
In June of 2009 we were allowed to conduct a short investigation of the Historic Grandin Theatre in Roanoke Virginia. Our purpose there was to try and validate the claims from employees and moviegoers alike. The claims ranged from disembodied voices to full bodied apparitions. During the course of our short 2 hour investigation we were unable to experience any of this phenomenon and we did not catch any video or audio anomalies to validate the claims. This was our first investigation of a historic location and although we did not catch or experience anything paranormal we would love to go back and conduct a full investigation and relive our Roanoke, Virginia, history.
In September of 2009 we responded to a request to investigate the "Downown Dolls Gentlemans Club" in Roanoke, Virginia. Management was concerned about the strange claims from dancers, employees, and patrons. The claims included, disembodies voices, apparitions, strange sounds, creepy feelings, and objects moving on their own. We were unable to validate any of the claims; however, we were very pleased to offer alternative explainations for most of the claims that were presented.We instructed the clients to keep a log of all strange events and contact us if the activity continued. The best part of the investigation was being able to show them how to identify false anomalies. This is one of the many services we provide.
In May of 2010 we visited the Poor House Road Tunnel in Lexington, Va to investigate the claims of visual anomalies and disembodied voices. The tunnel was about an hour drive from Roanoke so we left early to get there while it was still daylight. A small stream runs through the tunnel which created a lot of difficulty with our audio review because running water often resembles speech. We believe this could be responsible for some of the false disembodied voices. We were able to catch some neat audio anomalies while we were there, but there is no way we can call them paranormal due to the environmental distractions. You can find these in the Our Findings page of the website. We will be returning when the stream is dry and more acceptable for investigations.
